News Roundup

Lots of things going on in the news, including continued coverage of the horrible tragedy at Chardon High School. My sincere condolences go out to the families of Chardon, especially those who lost a child.

We are also one week from Super Tuesday, which includes the Ohio Primary. We learn today that Rick Santorum continues to lead Mitt Romney in the polls in Ohio. But, we also learned that Mitt Romney continues to get his facts about the auto bailout wrong.

In more political news, redistricting continues to be a heated issue in Ohio. I am going with the League of Women Voters on this one folks.

And there was a great opinion piece in today’s paper by the president of the Cleveland Teacher’s Union about what’s good – and bad – about Major Jackson’s education reform plan. Hint: he forgot to collaborate with the teachers. You know, the people that are on the front lines of education!
